At 25 years of age, my tour of duty as a US Army Finance Officer at Ft. Ord, CA had ended. I had a family and a burning desire to start my own business. Prior to joining the Army, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Marketing from Babson College earning a four-year degree in three years.

I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit as far back as I can remember: selling Yule Tide logs at Christmas door to door; running my own sailing school during the summer; playing the piano at various venues, washing cars; you name it, I did it.

Sales and organization are part of my DNA. After serving my Country and with money saved, I started a company called Omnigistics, Inc. in Salinas, CA. The premise was to create an alternative to the uncertainties, ineffectiveness and high cost of the traditional marketing, advertising and selling that for decades dominated the business-to-business marketplace.

I believed that there had to be a way to measure precisely the relationship between a dollar spent on advertising and the sales and profit that dollar generated. Over the course of the next 20 years that company, Omnigistics, Inc. expanded to include twelve offices coast to coast as well as Mexico City.

The PH Advisory Group evolved out of my predecessor company and for two decades has served industrial manufacturers of all sizes from small family owned operations to larger global entities concentrating on refining the sales functions of companies into self-directed, autonomous sales organizations.

We moved The PH Advisory Group’s headquarters to Florida in 2013 to enjoy its friendly business climate and to be near our son who is serving at Central Command after thirteen years as an officer in the US Army.

My wife and I reside on the Nature Coast in Hernando County and have three adult children and are blessed with seven grandchildren.

Founded and served as President for over 20 years. Omnigistics pioneered and implemented now broadly accepted concepts and techniques in the field of management, marketing and strategic planning including the theory and practice of profitable “rightsizing”, corporate revitalization, programmed expansion and niche oriented business-to-business marketing and more.

Previously headquartered in Salinas, California, Omnigistics owned its own facility on 1.68 acres of land and employed up to 80 people over its 20-year history. The company operated for the last two years out of a larger facility in Monterey, California. Additionally, the company maintained regional offices in: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Chicago, New York, Cleveland, Boston, Seattle and Portland, Oregon. For more than two decades, Omnigistics represented clients in virtually every industrial marketplace including metalworking, electronics, distribution, telecommunications, software and more.
